About Us

Friends Forever of 78, Inc., sprouted from a humble yet profound gathering of 15 colleagues from the Local 78 laborers union during a sunny October day in 2018. What started as a barbecue filled with laughter and camaraderie quickly evolved into a pivotal conversation about the limited assistance provided by Local 78 to its members. This moment of reflection sparked an idea—to create a space where union members could not only unite as colleagues but also forge deeper connections as friends and families. Thus, the social and sports club was born, laying the groundwork for what would soon transform our lives and the lives of many others.

Our Impact

Throughout the years, Friends Forever of 78, Inc. has embarked on numerous significant initiatives, from soccer tournaments and solidarity bingo nights to community aid projects. Our commitment has stretched across borders, providing disaster relief in Honduras and Haiti and bringing joy to children in Ecuador through toy and clothing donations. Each project underscores our dedication to assisting construction workers, their families, and communities in need, particularly those facing terminal illnesses. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we found innovative ways to continue our mission of helping those most vulnerable.
